At St Clare's, we believe that leadership is a shared responsibility and an opportunity for every student to grow in confidence, service, and voice. All year 6 students are given the opportunity to take on leadership roles through our school Parliament, with each student serving in a leadership position for an entire semester.

School Parliament Committees

Year 6 students are assigned to one of the following leadership committees, each with its own focus and responsibilities:

• Social justice committee
• Spirituality committee
• Sport committee
• Environment committee
• Hospitality committee
• Library committee
• Media committee
• Finance committee

These committees meet regularly as a Student Parliament to discuss ideas, make decisions, and take action on behalf of the school community. Each group plays a vital role in shaping school life and promoting student voice.

In addition to their committee work, Year 6 students also lead school assemblies and afternoon prayer, modelling leadership and faith in action for their peers.
